At Custom Seafoods we do our best to care for your catch in a timely, professional manner. When you check in your fish at our facility it is individually tagged with your name, processing instructions, weight, and the requested pickup/shipping date. The tag remains with your fish through the entire process, so we can ensure that you will get your own fish at the end.
All processing fees are based on incoming weight. We’ve created some resources explaining what to expect in terms of fillet weight returned to you. This handy charts will give you an idea of the approximate weight of salmon and halibut filets you should expect to be returned after processing. These numbers are approximate and will vary based on certain factors, including if the skin is left on or removed from your fillets.

At Custom Seafoods, we have multiple custom processing options available to fit your needs. Whether you want us to Cut, Vacuum Seal & Freeze your catch or anything in between, we use industry-leading products and procedures to process, package and ensure your fish taste fresh for months to come. Hot Smoked Fish Processing
With our Hot Smoked Salmon, you have two options available. Our Exchange program allows you to trade in your fresh caught salmon for salmon we have already smoked and packaged. We have Traditional or Cajun smoked flavors, which are only available while supplies last. Our Custom Order program, provides you with the opportunity to customize your order with our Traditional or Cajun flavors and ensures that you receive your own fish back. These orders require a minimum of 15lbs. per batch and takes 4-6 weeks to complete. Please give us a all for current pricing.
Orders processed by us will be stored for free for two weeks! After those two weeks, customers will be charged $10 per week, per order. If you have fish that were not processed through our facility, we still offer storage for a fee. Please give us a call for current pricing.
